My skills do seem a little rusty. Oh dear. One of those monsters nearly got me...

But it's alright! They say it's something you never forget. Someone mentioned bicycles. What are bicycles?

Shu-san started a police force! Although he says that it won't be affiliated with the Government - if Shinra can be said to be the government? The politics of this place are strange. But the police force of the Meiji wasn't particularly effective ♥

If anything, the Shinsengumi were more effective than any police force, and they weren't affiliated with anyone but the shogun...

...But this city is definitely becoming more interesting.

These monsters are really bothersome, aren't they? I hear they killed Misao-san... I'm going to see if I can get rid of a few of them. I'd welcome anyone who wishes to join me... if you can keep up.

Hojo-sensei, thank you for sharpening my sword ♥. I'm not even sure where I picked it up from... It's not as good a blade as my old ones, but it'll do.

Ah, this is such a pity. We seem to have swapped back already!

I left Hojo-sensei with a nice outfit, though. Very similar to the one that Himura-san used to wear, but they gave us so much lace that we just had to add some to the sleeves. And some lovely pink bows really brings out the colour of his hair. Strong, bright colours really change the look of a person, don't they?

I managed to wander around a bit before the bodies swapped back. I hope some people got photos. ♥

Ah... this is all very strange. I was fairly certain that I was on the road to Edo, but when I awoke this morning - is it even morning? one can only assume...? - I realised that I must be somewhat off my route. If anyone could tell me which way is Edo? Oh--! They call it Tokyo nowadays, don't they?

And perhaps someone has a spare rice ball? I seem to have... lost all of mine~
